Vanishing point come from the distand to Europe land of Australia and "Embrace the Silence" is their 3rd effort to make a name for themselves worldwide. From the very first notes someone can easily understand that their main target is the European market.

79+ minutes of melodic power metal, with mid to fast tempo songs and the addition of some ballads. The artwork and the production can be considered as the band's strong assets, as well as the whole performance of the quintet. The only drawback is the duration of the cd, which combined with the fact that some songs are more mediocre than the majority of the compositions, makes you a bit tired and drops the rating, together with the good general picture you get out of "Embrace the Silence".That doesn't necessarily mean you should delete it from your buying list whatsoever. There are some great moments, marvelous compositions and performances that'll make you repeat the spin over and over. It really deserves your attention and money eventually.

Bottom-line:
Embrace IS the album that will earn them some points and make their name more known in the metal industry worldwide. I have the feeling that something big will come this way very soon. Until then...
