Heed were created by two withdrawer members of Lost Horizon, who just released two CDs. Their first in particular is one of the best debuts of Melodic Power Metal. So they returned with a new musical proposition much more contemporary than that of Lost Horizon declaring a new hope in the field of Melodic Heavy Metal in Sweden. The guitar riffs, the solos, the extraordinary refrains, but also the alternations in rhythm and speed, are some of the features that characterize their debut. From the very first listening you realize that something great has been generated. What outstands is the amazing work on the vocals. In particular the refrains are something more than adhesive to the mind and make you sing them; a result of inspiration and synthetic maturity, something that you cannot find easily, especially in a debut. There is no need to refer to the rest separately or to the production. Excellent to all, just like that.

Bottom Line: A hopeful debut and I am already eagerly waiting for their next effort. I know that it is hard for your purchase to choose a brand new debut. The call is worth it though, believe me.
