Eeriness comes from Switzerland, the land of the mighty Celtic Frost, Crystal Ball, Lunatica and many more that I forget now. They have already eleven years of existence and have release two demos and their debut album back in 2003. After four years of hard work they strike back with their newest work "Paths".

In this album Eeriness have included ten tracks and almost fifty minutes of dark gothic metal. Actually Eeriness is another band that they follow the path of dual male and female vocals, which means that the male vocals are a little bit extreme and the female more ethereal.

Sometimes I am wondering with myself, what else new you can hear from a band that follows the gothic/atmospheric metal path. So far I haven’t found the answer, but I believe every band has its personality. If this personality and musicianship are in high levels, then they can release something really interesting.

If you want to have a picture of the music of Eeriness in your mind, imagine influences from Trail of Tears, Tristania and Paradise Lost together with the personal sound of the band, with a very talented singer and well worked compositions. Personally I believe that Eeriness have found their personal sound and I dare to predict that in every new release they will give us something better and more mature than their previous work. Last but not least, personally I adore the time that I spent to hear the music from Eeriness and definitely their album will be for quite long inside my CD player.
