Angel - "Dont Wanna Run Out Now"
[Black Lotus Records, 2005]

Angel - Dont Wonna Run Out Now

Tracklist:

01. Don't Wanna Run (single edit)
02. Mother (Acoustic version)
03. Heaven
04. Darkness

I have over a week in my hands the debut single from the new band of Helena Michaelsen. Helena had already participated as a singer in the first two albums from Trail of Tears, a gothic metal band from Norway. After this she formed Imperia and released their debut album "The Ancient Dance Of Qetesh" through Ebony Tears record label. Angel is the new band of Helena.

In this Cd single "Don't Wanna Run" we have four songs, the first one is a special single edition of the homonymous song and the second track with the title "Mother" will stick in your mind for months, with the sorrow and the sadness that gushes from it. In their debut album, which will be released during this summer, the regular version of it will be included, since here we're dealing with the acoustic one. "Heaven" is an average song, but the surprise comes from the latest one "Darkness", which is a really interesting one.

The vocal lines from Helena have changed a lot. I can say that in "Darkness", Helena uses her voice more theatrical than in the previous tracks. Also the whole song, gives you the impression of a creepy atmosphere. Very interesting track in order to close this single. I shouldn't forget to remind you that this single will be available only through the label's site and the personal site of Helena Michaelsen, you can't find it in the music stores. I really hope you'll have the opportunity to hear their debut album soon.
