| Germany’s biggest black metal hopefuls claims their label for them to be and I have no reason to disagree on that. Unlight with their 4th full length (why is the Nordic stormbringer categorized as a 6-track cd and not a full length I have no idea) combine catchy thrash metal riffs with death metal outbreaks in a black metal war ensemble! Imagine a band playing like old man’s child and Kreator put together then I think u have a big part of unlight. Their main advantage is that they sound pretty fresh and aggressive while playing in a style a bit outdated and overwhelmed. The more I listen to this album the more I understand that Unlight are much better than most black/thrash/death metal wannabie bands outhere. Even some heavy melodies here and there kick ass!
