Shattered
Hope is a Greek band. They were formed
back in 2002 and after almost three
years they released their debut demo
CD with the title "A View of
Grief". In this work the band
has included six tracks and more than
half hour of pure metal music.
From the intro to
the first track you can easily see
that the band walks in the atmospheric
paths of doom metal with elements
from death metal too. Slow moments,
death metal vocals and a lot of influences
from various doom metal bands. This
is how we can describe the music from
Shattered Hope. The production of
their demo is good enough, at least
for first work is really good. Their
compositions are well worked, but
they need more practice and to be
more unique to find their personal
sound. Definite this is a promising
demo from a promising band.
