"Wrath" is the long awaited new album from Lamb of God. Lamb of God is a band that needs no introduction to the fans of the extreme. It is probably the best band the American extreme scene has to offer today. People started comparing them with Pantera, and though it may seem like a sacrilege to some, the fact is that they are equal in technique and equally influential. The past two albums, "Sacrament" and "Ashes of the Wake" defined them as one of the best bands out there and they seem to stand up to that.

"Wrath" is a solid top notch album. The band doesn't seem to have evolved one bit. It just got better on its own personal style. In previous albums one - two songs really stood out, like "Redneck "or "Walk with me in Hell", but this is not the case here. Each and every song here is equally devastating! So we have pure southern guitar lessons with some amazing display of skill, braced by an unbelievable rhythm session, Chris Adler has indeed some of the best dynamics out there, and D. Randal Blythe screaming and growling at the microphone crazy as ever. This certainly is the perfect recipe for destruction

This is an album for all the fans of the extreme, whether a Lamb of God fan or not. It is a real display of what Pantera defined as Heavy Music. There isn't a dull moment while listening, no bad point where someone would press forward and no song to skip. It's a masterpiece from beginning to end.
