Innerfire - In Blood We Trust

Tracklist:

1. In Blood We Trust
2. Ashes To Victory
3. Regrets
4. December Of My Life
5. Realms Of Despair
6. And Silence Drowned The Screams

Firstly back in the middle 90's, was a band called Gothic and it had its base in Romania, the land of the legendary Vlad Tepes. This band released two demos and one album and after some changes we can found this band with a new monicker, Innerfire, in a new country, Belgium and with new members. Actually Innerfire have members from Mystica, Dark Ages, Dragdown and Salmonellose.

"In Blood we trust" is their debut album via Painkiller Records. The band, delivers with its new release a mixture of death and atmospheric metal. You can imagine something similar to a combination of early Tiamat and Paradise Lost. The vocals are mostly harsh and guttural. The band has made a really nice guitar work and also the keyboards are almost excellent. They aren't too much in order to become fatiguing.

Also the guitar solos are very good, but they need more improvement and more work on that aspect. Generally, the first album from Innerfire, was above average and if they work more and in a more professional basis in their next release, I believe that some mistakes you can hear in this one, will surely disappear. For the fans of atmospheric death metal and the fans of early Paradise Lost. I hope we will hear something new from Innerfire soon.
