Info on Ragnarok Radio Show
Late December 2006 three individuals with a keen interest in both heavy metal and the apocalypse came together to begin a "podcast" programme. That programme was of course Ragnarok. With a tagline of "The soundtrack to the impending Apocalypse" the three members (Victoria Baker, Gordy Jeans, Dwayne Adams) began to broadcast some of the "best" of what can be described as underground battle, death, black and thrash metal. Although they have demonstrated a very internationalist flavour with their selections-including such bands as Amon Amarth, Blind Guardian and Sabaton, their main focus has remained stead fastly fixed on the Scottish metal scene and the bands inhabiting it. Bands such as CORE, Dissolved and Man must die are all cornerstones of their broadcasts and indeed are readily promoted. Any bands however that wishes to be played merely has to enquire at their MySpace page. Almost any band is greeted warmly and has a good chance of exposure and airplay.

The Ragnarok metal 'zine (as such publications are known) is due to be released around the end of April will further bring exposure to the bourgeoning Scottish metal scene.
